I’m Virginia—a life enhancer, story holder, and connector. You know your life better than anyone else, and you deserve to do more than just get by—you deserve to thrive. I know that reaching out for help can feel like a big deal. That’s why I’m here to make sure you feel truly seen and understood from our very first session. My approach is all about empathy and real-world results. I use proven methods, but I never forget that you’re a unique person with your own story.
How I Can Help
I'm passionate about giving you actual tools you can use to make life feel more meaningful. We’ll work together as a team to help you feel more grounded and in control.
For Individuals: If you're feeling weighed down by the past, stuck in your thoughts, or just plain overwhelmed, we’ll use a mix of "person-centered" and "cognitive-behavioral" therapies to find your way forward.
For Couples: Using the Gottman Method (I’ve completed Level 1 training!), I help partners actually hear each other again. We’ll work on communicating what you really need and getting back on the same page.
For Trauma: I’m deeply interested in how our brains handle stress. I use neurocounseling techniques and interventions to help lessen the impact of both old and new traumas, helping you start a newer chapter in your life
A Little About Me
I’ve worn a lot of hats—psychotherapist, entrepreneur, and business owner—which helps me see the big picture. I am a Professional Counselor Associate with degrees from both Oregon State University (Master of Counseling) and the University of Oregon (Master of Science). Basically, I love learning and am always looking for new ways to better support my clients.
When I’m not in the office, you can usually find me at the gym, practicing a new spoken language, or probably over-spoiling my furbabies.
I’d be honored to walk alongside you. Ready to get started?
